While scouting venues for their destination wedding in Tuscany, Sarah and Gus felt in love with the stunning views of Villa Corsini di Mezzomonte the moment they set eyes on it online. The beautiful 360 degrees panoramic views of the Florence countryside are hard not to fall for.
Considering the venue doesn’t offer accommodation but, as most couples having a destination wedding in Tuscany, Sarah and Gus wanted to spend a few days with closest family and friends, we opted for a local countryside Hotel to accommodate most of the guests. This Villa had beautiful gardens so it easily became a choice for the couple preparations and first look on the wedding day, as well as farewell event spot on the last days.
One of the most fascinating spots of Villa Corsini is the Italian garden, showcasing manicured trees, beautiful flowers and a romantic fountain around which we developed the ceremony set up. The open ceremony arch was designed to frame the enchanting panorama in the backdrop and the flowers to be as romantic as the garden but stand out in the a very greenery setting.
Villa Corsini is also famous as a destination wedding Tuscany venue for its internal frescoed Gallery which, despite the outside gardens, is always chosen to host the wedding reception. The whole wedding dinner set up was designed around the gold and blush hues of the frescos.
Upon entering the majestic hall and take their seats guests were entertained by a romantic first dance on the notes of the Nutcracker’s music played by a string trio. We loved the couple’s choice not to have a traditional first dance before the party!
