Francesca and Alan’s choice of
Villa La Foce for their Tuscany wedding came by pure chance. The couple left London for a trip to Val D’Orcia to visit a wedding venue Francesca and Alan had seen online, however the original venue turned out not to be available for the following wedding season. Little they knew that this was a blessing in disguise. While exploring the area Francesca and Alan stumbled across Villa La Foce. Well known for its picture perfect Italian garden, Francesca and Alan fell in love with this gem of a venue and decided it on choosing it for their Tuscany wedding.
Fast forward to the following mid September and the day of Francesca and Alan’s Tuscany wedding at Villa La Foce finally arrived. The stunning manicured garden was the ideal setting for the couple’s Protestant ceremony. Considering the relatively small size of the group we decided to focus the set up around the statue and the fountain, the key features of the garden. The statue stands fiercely on a semi-circular stone base which we used a starting point to create a low round flower arrangement to encircled the couple during the ceremony. To maximise the space the chairs were set up over two rows per side and a corridor of flowers was placed along the sides.
