When dreaming of a seaside wedding in Italy, finding a venue where you can almost touch the water seems unreal. Castello Canevaro
offers you just that.
Perched on the spur of a cliff looking into the small Gulf of Tigullio, the Castle stands in a little corner of paradise. With private access to a beach and only a few minutes walking distance from the centre of the small village of Zoagli, Castello Canevaro satisfies the desire of an intimate seaside wedding without having to be remotely located.
The Castle has an entrance courtyard, a two tiers garden overlooking the sea and, on the opposite side of the venue, a pergola terrace overlooking the bay, all of which can be set up for your outdoor romantic ceremony, wedding aperitif and reception.
On the floor of the 18 century garrison two halls with direct outdoor access and windows with a breath taking view, are the most adaptable to create a lounge area and dancing area combo for your evening party.
Whilst a marquee can be set up in case of bad weather, the already sheltered pergola area is a great option in case of rain. In addition, on the main floor of the Castle, four rooms are also available to host your ceremony and aperitif if necessary. Despite having a variety of indoor and outdoor spaces, the Castle is ideal for intimate seaside wedding of maximum 50/60 people.
Castello Canevaro has three suits on site which can be rented for a minimum stay of two nights. More accommodation is available in the nearby towns, around 10 to 20 minutes drive from the venue.
Symbolic, protestant and Jewish weddings can be celebrated at the venue. For civil ceremonies, the local town hall puts at couples’ disposal an old tower perched on the opposite cliff and walking distance from the Castle. Catholic weddings can be celebrated in the local church.
